The on-site leisure faci lities are what make Manor Lodge bed and breakfast really special. There is a fantastic indoor pool complex with an integral gym room, sauna, shower and wooden garden relaxer.
The heated pool aims to be comfortably warm yet refreshing. At one end there are resistance jets allowing an “endless” swim against variable currents. At the other end there is a Jacuzzi.
The Sauna can be set on a timer so that it is ready when you finish your swim or work out.
The air-conditioned gym has an entry level tread mill, rowing machine, exercise bike and vibrating toner. There are various free hand weights, a chin-up bar, Reebok step and Swedish ball. There is also a TV with DVD, and Sound System in the gym room.
WIFI internet is also available around the complex.
The pool room is controlled by state of the art heating and ventilation systems all year round.
Please note:
Although within easy reach of many local places of interest the village of Witton itself does not have a pub or a shop... Being at Manor Lodge really is an "away from it all" experience! Having said this, there is a well stocked shop on the coast at Walcott, which is only a mile and a half away, and a number of pubs within a three-mile radius. The town of North Walsham is just less than 3 miles away and offers a supermarket and a variety of other shops and facilities. There is no public transport close by however walking and/or cycling to places and amenities locally are possible and by car or motorbike very easily accessible.
We would like  to point out that Manor Lodge is dog friendly if your dog is friendly! Canine companions are welcome to stay by prior arrangement for an additional £5 per night plus a returnable deposit for extra cleaning if required. Dog beds can be provided. Alfie and Cassie (the ridiculously friendly resident Great Dane and Labradoodle) are always pleased to meet new doggy friends and the gardens which extend to nearly one and a half acres provide plenty of fun for all.
